Wedding planner – Bespoke weddings on The Amalfi Coast
UK born, Italy based
I was born and raised in the UK but after studying Events management at university in the UK I followed my dream of living abroad and went to Italy in 2001 where I fell in love with the country and its people. After living in Venice and Verona I then spent a few years in Florence in Tuscany. After 8 years of living La Dolce vita in Italy and working in Marketing and events I decided to go back to the UK for a few years.
On one of my trips back to Italy to visit friends in Tuscany little did I know I would sit next to my Mr Right on the plane the love story started there and is still going strong. Angelo took me one sunny weekend to visit his home in the Amalfi coast and a whole new love story began. Although I had explored many parts of the country, for me The Amalfi coast was the most beautiful. I felt like I had walked onto the set of a love film.
Im now living back in Italy married to my Mr Right and happier than ever. Love In The Lemon Grove specialise in weddings on The Amalfi coast.
How Love In The Lemon Grove started
The idea of Love In The Lemon Grove was created through my love for this beautiful country, my events experience and a desire to help others. After being a guest at many weddings in Italy and the UK and unofficially the events organiser amongst my friends and colleagues I decided to make it official.
Unlike some wedding planning companies in Italy I do not hire other staff as I believe that a true wedding planner should organise each event from start to finish so I build a strong bond with all my clients who know that each time they receive an email or ask a question it is me that is replying every time and they are entrusting their special day into only my hands. As they say, ‘Too many cooks can spoil the broth!’
My promise to you
I treat every single wedding like a precious work of art, investing time, and love to make it exceed your expectations. I consider myself to be a creative person with an eye for detail and an appreciation of beautiful things.
With local contacts who have become trusted friends I will ensure you have the prettiest flowers sourced from a local florist, the perfect vintage car to take you to your ceremony, and the hairstyle and make up that encapsulates your style and makes you feel beautiful. For me every wedding is a one off event and should be unique and beautiful but most of all a reflection of the two people who are coming together in marriage.
Language will never be an issue as I am bilingual and work closely with the local suppliers and staff to ensure everything is just right. I am also available for ceremonies and on the day support to translate and coordinate.
With an intimate knowledge of the areas I work in I would be happy to advise you and your guests also on the best hotels, restaurants, tours and local attractions ensuring that not only is your day perfect but that all your guests talk about their trip to the Amalfi coast or Tuscany for years to come.
Please give me a call on Skype or drop me an email. I would love to chat to you about planning your dream wedding!
